Cleaned up and moved entry

[edit]

I've cleaned up the entry the best I could, updated a few bits of information, and moved the page to the show's proper name, "Loonatics Unleashed". Anthony Dean 02:35, 15 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tech E. Coyote

[edit]

I was just wondering if anyone here might know where I could find some good pics of Tech E. Coyote? He is my favorite character on the show since he is based off of my favorite classic character, Wile E. Coyote.

Oh, and about Warner Bros. taking the original characters and "crapping on them", it states very clearly in the show that these are NOT the original characters but descendants of them (which would also explain why this show takes place in the future). I think that this show was a refreshing twist on the cartoon that we have seen so much of for so long and I stand by Warner Bros. on this one. This show is no worse than Justice League or any other superhero cartoon. I mean, it's not as if these characters are replacing the originals. To think so would be, well, just idiotic. I mean, come on, it was only a matter of time before they made a Looney Tunes superhero team. This is probably just a little experiment anyway, so quit your bitching and enjoy the ride while it lasts. Or, you could just do the more sensible thing and ignore it. I'm actually surprised that nobody saw this coming a long time ago (especially after they made Space Jam *shudder*). Sorry about going a little off topic, but it had to be said.

I think the original promotional stuff for this actually said they were going to be the original characters, and that's why the initial outrage happened, yeah. Onslaught Six 00:09, 3 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Actually The promotional video that was linked to at the bottom of the site said "you make think these are familiar, but this is a whole new world." By the way, I'm with WB on this too, after watching it i think it was pretty good, I mean compared to crap like Teen Titans... Mr toasty 00:09, 2 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Episode 7

[edit]

In Episode 7, The World is my Circus, how did the Loonatics' powers get switched? I forgot. --anon

Theory

[edit]

There are some theories on this. The most likely reason is that when Tech shot his weapon into the Gene-splicer(sp), the malfuntion caused a feedback which not only scrambled their DNA but their powers as well.

The Loonatics' DNA got switched with other animals, right? --anon

The Switched Powers

[edit]

Ace Bunny's powers got switched with Danger Duck's. Lexi Bunny's powers got switched with Slam Tasmanian's. And Rev Runner's powers got switched with Tech E. Coyote's.

dude wtf

What the heck is up with Duck`s description?

[edit]

"Bhuddist priest riding a tricycle wearing a silly mustache?" What idiot came up with that? That`s both irrelevant and religious. Please, someone change that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 152.163.100.138 (talkcontribs)

It's called vandalism. Wikipedia has policies regarding it. Thanks for bringing it to my attention and feel free to make an account and edit out any other such incorrect information in articles in the future. ACS (Wikipedian) 22:07, 16 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your welcome. Already done.--Crossfire 7 00:21, 24 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Unnamed Yosemite Sam-like villian

[edit]

If anyone saw the promos it showed what seems to be a Yosemite Sam like villian. Should this be added to the article in some way?

Rev, Tech and Slam

[edit]

Should something be worked into the article to the effect that, unlike Danger Duck and the Bunnies, these three's powers are based on notable abilities of the original versions (Road Runner's speed, Taz's tornadoing, and Wile E.'s ability to survive falling into his own traps)? Daibhid C 22:46, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I suppose. Although, as stated in the article, many Looney Tunes characters, and cartoon characters in general were able to recover easily. ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 01:22, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ironically...

[edit]

I once read a book on superhero physics (I don't remember what it's called, though). The opening line is as follows:

While Wile E. Coyote is by no stretch of the imagination a superhero...

This guy needs to check his facts. --Wack'd About Wiki 21:02, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Say wha? ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 21:23, 21 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I'm serious! That was a quote in a book about superhero physics! The opening line, in fact! --Wack'd About Wiki 10:37, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah. Okay, but what...is your point? ACS (Wikipedian); Talk to the Ace. See what I've edited. 19:23, 22 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think the point was that the person who posted that thought Wile E. is a superhero, therefore making the superhero physics book outdated. Unfortuneatly, that's not Wile E. being a superhero, it's Tech E. Ironically enough, Wack'd About Wiki appears to be mistaken, also. ~Jessica C. Duck

So it's over now, right?

Vandalism

[edit]

Zidavia's name has been consistently changed to Zorg, along with gender pronouns; a villain's name has also been changed to Optimus Prime. This also extends to the character list. I replaced Zidavia's entry in the character list but other cleanup is needed. BonzaiRob 14:22, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Do you mean 'Zadavia'? I'm pretty sure her name doesn't have two 'I's. ~ theOddity

Third season?

[edit]

Is there really a third season in the works? I've checked all over the place, and all I could find were people hoping to have Loonatics Unleashed on schedules - that, and rumors that it was going to be canceled, although the latter was written by a well-known LU hater, so I believe it not to be credible.

But I still don't know if there's a third season. Argh. ~ theOddity

I placed a citation notice in the article.

I work at Toon Zone, and as far as we know, there's nothing supporting the fact that the show is back. Warner Bros. initially announced four shows that were renewed (Shaggy and Scooby-Doo Get A Clue, Tom and Jerry Tales, Legion of Superheroes, and The Batman). When they announced the 2007-08 programming, they also announced the renewal of Johnny Test, the debut of Eon Kid, Magi-Nation, Will and somethingorrather (the name escapes me), and World of Quest as well as the spring premiere of a brand new Spider-Man series.

And no Loonatics at all in either of the announcements, which leads me to believe that the show is done. Plus, they're supposed to be working on a new Thundercats series for the 2008-09 season at Warner Animation, so it could be possible that many of the animators and designers of Loonatics are working on that show. Either that or some are working on the new Transformers show for Cartoon Network. The status of Loonatics isn't clear, but it seems as if the series is finished. Still holding out, personally. 119.13.157.231 (talk) 03:18, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After all this time you're still hoping for a new series? Harryhenry1 (talk) 05:14, 16 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Porky

[edit]

I liked this show, until they made Porky evil. I know it's only Porky's decendant, but it still makes me sad.

Third Season?

[edit]

Will someone delete/edit the last paragraph in the 'Story' section? It sounds like the ramblings of a hopeful fanatic. -IP —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.255.20.198 (talk) 14:40, 28 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where's the section on the episodes?

[edit]

I remember seeing a list of all the episodes on the article page...until someone removed them recently. What gives? 80.187.96.243 (talk) 08:12, 8 March 2009 (UTC)TruthSeekr[reply]

I've linked the episode list page. Podgy Stuffn (talk) 11:44, 12 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Could someone add the logo? Thanks. AmericanLeMans (talk) 15:29, 1 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Images?

[edit]

Wasn't the look a major area of contention also? Where are all the images of the characters? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.185.84.11 (talk) 15:45, 3 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Decendants

[edit]

I've searched through some of the original press releases which I have been able to find and note that the direct decendants are listed (Ace Bunny / Bugs Bunny, Lexi Bunny / Lola Bunny, etc.) but there is nothing anywhere to indicate both sides of any ancestral parentage (Ace Bunny / Lola Bunny, etc.), therefore the expanded ancestral listings are purely speculative on the writer's part and have no basis on any fact that I can determine. --184.148.179.226 (talk) 22:05, 17 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Potential correction

[edit]

I'm changing "reside on the 125th" to "134th" simply because that's what Danger Duck said in "Cape Duck" (that he couldn't get a cell signal on the 134th floor", and he was in the same room they're usually in (the living room-like area as seen in "Sypher" and others I'm too tired to think of right now).

If it doesn't fit policy or whatever, then never mind and change it back. :P MissTeek (talk) 07:01, 30 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Nothing about the reception?

[edit]

I feel like this page needs a reception page more than most. The reception to this show was way more important than the show itself. 119.13.157.231 (talk) 03:19, 29 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
