Merge with Key (lock)

I would like to merge Key (lock) to Lock (security device). The history sections are almost the same, and the discussions of different types of locks (and keys for those locks) are parallel. Material on Key duplication, Master key, and Locksmithing would need to be spun out to new articles. power~enwiki (π, ν) 01:59, 9 October 2018 (UTC)

I've created a new article on Key duplication with material from Key (lock), and will work on references next. @The Anome and Thumperward: who worked on the previous Locksmithing article which was merged here, and would be spun out again with this proposal. power~enwiki (π, ν) 22:50, 11 October 2018 (UTC)
