Jargon in need of clarification

This article suffers from considerable use of jargon unfamiliar to those who do not study these things and are not from this particular strand of the Christian tradition. For example, "priory" is never defined, nor "suppressed," which clearly has some meaning quite distinct from the everyday meaning but whose meaning within this religious context is never spelled out in any way.Lawikitejana (talk) 05:46, 26 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]
