Declined proposal for deletion

The proposal for deletion was stated as: "Duplication of category: Category:Shopping malls in Bangalore". However, per WP:NOTDUP, an English Wikipedia editing guideline, "It is neither improper nor uncommon to simultaneously have a category, a list, and a navigation template which all cover the same topic. These redundant systems of organizing information are considered to be complementary, not inappropriately duplicative. Furthermore, arguing that a category duplicates a list (or vice versa) at a deletion discussion is not a valid reason for deletion and should be avoided." There is an error for Sigma Mall's (Cunningham Road) date. It currently states "2011" but I have been inside that mall in 2009. I don't know it's construction date to edit it. 122.167.39.203 (talk) 16:06, 23 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
