Can someone also put a key/legend as to what the colour coding of the cyclone names indicates? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.7.52.129 (talk) 02:44, 2 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Should we include names that impacted Australia but were named by Nadi? and visa versa it would seem to be a good idea Since Nigel and Erics damage is inseperable.Jason Rees (talk) 18:22, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We should but they need to be in a different section as it would contradict the article title. The section has the specify that it was a cross-region storm and not named by the local agency but the storm caused significant damage. Cyclonebiskit (talk) 21:50, 7 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Isn't there an online link for the list? It's annoying to rely on some document none of us can look at. --♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 15:34, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

General notes

[edit]

Simon 1980 intensity needs checking. Wellington/Nadi list it as 95 knots.Jason Rees (talk) 02:53, 13 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Retired names by agencies

[edit]

Just like the Port Moresby's retired names, I think we should separate the BoM's and the Jakarta's names as well, at least creating subsections in each decade. Currently, it's very hard to know what agency assigned each name. ABC paulista (talk) 01:03, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I dont personally think its worth separating out the png names, since there is only a handful of names. Anyway we can not separate the list into BoM and Jakarta since Jakarta only got a list of names in 2008, off which only Anggreek has been used but that wasn't retired.Jason Rees (talk) 08:10, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, sorry. I thought that some names here came from Jakarta... ABC paulista (talk) 17:05, 18 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
