Mary O'Rourke?

[edit]

The unreliable-looking site guide2womenleaders says on two pages that Mary O'Rourke was a member of the Council of State:

  • [1] says 1993–7
  • [2] says 1995–7 (also gives 1995–7 for Rosemarie Smith)

I suspect they're mixing her up with Monica Barnes. jnestorius(talk) 15:40, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Leader of the Opposition

[edit]

I'm not sure Jim Mitchell's 1991 gripe was factually correct. I think Liam Cosgrave was leader of the Opposition after the Irish presidential election, 1966, and I don't think Dev nominated him in 1967. Perhaps, if Dev carried over all his 1959 appointments, Mitchell could argue that his 1959 appointment of James Dillon was the relevant one. jnestorius(talk) 15:40, 13 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Time column

[edit]

What does the Time column in the table refer to? Snappy (talk) 20:04, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
