suggestion to update list

[edit]

Some plants are missing. Here's a link to Dynegy's current plants, including their net capacities: https://www.dynegy.com/sites/default/files/Dynegy%20Generating%20Asset%20List.pdf
Another missing plant is the 9 x gas turbine Elwood Energy: https://www.jpowerusa.com/projects/elwood-energy/ https://www.naes.com/locations/elwood-energy/ just south of Joliet. ~~

Otter Creek wind farm in Ransom, Illinois needs to be added to the list of renewables Nacand (talk) 16:27, 14 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Coordinates

[edit]

Do coordinates in some of the tables add value? They seem redundant since the location is already given. I propose removing them to reduce the width of the tables. If readers need coordinate data, they can get it at the articles for those facilities. Granttchart (talk) 02:47, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The coordinates are useful in creating interactive maps showing all sites in the list via the Geohack tool; these comprehensive views will only be available from the list page. Try clicking the globe icon next to one of the coordinates. Elizabeth Linden Rahway (talk) 10:20, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
