Relevance of this page

[edit]
  • I really don't see the reason why the Anchor thing should be there at all in such a classification
  • I actually don't see the point at all of this page, other than a place to collect together strange 'translation' things - surely there is a better way?!

Add them into the modern translations page. that page doesn't care about the dialect, reason or media used. This separate page seems strange. Rmhermen 19:28, 15 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I think this page does have some value in that it collects together the really esoteric projects (online only, not-a-Bible at all, etc.) Brusselsshrek 15:16, 24 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Paraphrase versions

[edit]

Indeed, I feel that even the recently deleted NSB deserves a spot here. Consider centering this discussion here: Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Bible#Include incomplete versions.3F. --J. J. 20:59, 5 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Brick Testament?

[edit]

The The Brick Testament is in no way, shape, or form a translation of the Bible. At best, it is illustrations of Biblical events. You don't see other illustrations of the Bible (e.g. the works of Gustave Doré) listed as a translation. It should be removed from the list. 68.113.47.82 19:41, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why does this page exist?

[edit]

There are already plural Wikipedia articles on English Bible translations. What is this supposed to add? Is there a reason it should not be deleted?Pete unseth (talk) 19:03, 6 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
