I suppose you have a point. I misread the article brand and didn't notice that the name was very much a part of the brand. I was under the assumption that brands were the logos. RyanVesey13:43, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Frankly, I still don't see why it makes sense to have a list of the brands instead of the manufacturers. There's a number of incidents where I can't determine the brand of gun a manufacturer creates. Where is Auto-Ordnance Company's place on the list. Or Birmingham Small Arms Company or DPMS Panther Arms? In the instances where one manufacturer makes multiple brands, that should be stated in one of the columns. RyanVesey14:05, 8 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't think that one through. If "Marque" column is replaced with "Manufacturer" and "Named after" is replaced with "Brands" then the page could work both as the List of firearms brands and the List of firearm manufacturers. G_PViB (talk) 09:33, 10 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
