Hi, Shahab, you've made an edition based on your statement that "Dadra and Nagar Haveli are two separate places. They were both liberated in 1954". Your assertion is absolutely right, I agree in full, and who could oppose? But please pay attention that we're in the WP now, and there aren't two separate articles, one for Dadra and one for Nagar Haveli: as a matter of fact, there's just one for Dadra and Nagar Haveli together for the moment. In the format you've left the links, if someone clicks "Dadra", they're redirected to "Dadra and Nagar Haveli". And if somebody else clicks "Nagar Haveli", they're redirected to "Dadra and Nagar Haveli" as well. Does this make any sense? My point is that we mustn't confuse the people who come around these remote lands in the WP. Please let me tell you that I'm eager to write both articles, but perhaps you would like to beat me to it? In the meantime, if you don't oppose, I'm merging the links (not the places!) again. Kind regards, --Zack Holly Venturi (talk) 14:10, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How about this line in the lead:
Dadra and Nagar Haveli were both liberated in 1954 by Indian Nationalists but the Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli was not declared till 1961. Technically speaking, it is only after that, that Dadra and Nagar Haveli came inside the Indian Union.
This also doesn't contradict WP:OVERLINK.--Shahab (talk) 16:26, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't object to your proposal. Thank you for your attention.--Zack Holly Venturi (talk) 12:02, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
