Day 5 "Severe" risk - Lookout for new outbreak

[edit]

A day 5 "severe" risk has been issued for the Southern United States regions of Louisiana, Arkansas, extreme eastern Texas, and western Mississippi. These are pretty rare, even more considering the region and time of the year. We've had similar situations in 2015, 2019, and of course, 2021. So we better be on the lookout for a considerable event.
