"Anti-Bats" Episode ,Ricky's Origin
[edit]In the season 2,episode 5 ,"Anti-Bats" story, Ricky's stop motion animated origin story , is a parody / homage to "Robot Chicken". Specifically the way the cut out mouths are pasted to the animated objects.
And ... in "Episode 9" of the KickStarter episodes, their encounter with Crash as a Minotaur , appears to be a parody of a similar scene in Terry Gilliam's "Time Bandits".

- The director of Ricky's animated segment was John Ikuma, who worked on Robot Chicken; however, according to IMDb, the extent of his involvement was as an uncredited visual effects intern from 2008-2009, which is why I hesitate to mention the series in this article. If there's a decent source indicating the short was "done in the style of Robot Chicken", though, that's fine to add.
- As far as the possible Time Bandits reference, pretty much every Super Show! is chock full of pop culture references; unless they're the basis for an entire episode (e.g. "The Thingy!" or "Cowboy Android!"), they don't need to be mentioned on Wikipedia. That's more of a Fandom/Wikia thing. Skibz777 (talk) 09:52, 2 December 2019 (UTC)
