Soulseek protocol used both by soulseekqt (propriatary) and nicotine-plus (open-source), so I think that it should not be in "File transfer protocols used by only one application" category. --Maciej Błędkowski (talk) 16:09, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
Aspera (end-to-end) protocol is an instance of P2P protocol? --Krauss (talk) 18:25, 13 November 2016 (UTC)
ActivityPub is P2P?
[edit]From my best understanding, ActivityPub doesn't provide any p2p functionality. It has Client-to-Server functionality, as well as Server-to-Server (S2S) functionality. But it's kind of significantly not a p2p protocol. Are we defining p2p in a different way than it's traditionally understood? I feel as though it should be removed from the table, or at least a stipulation should be listed somewhere to clarify for the reader. ShadowLancer (talk) 01:38, 31 January 2025 (UTC)
