Any thoughts on making pages for each episode? An episode guide perhaps?

  • I do not get what you are saying if we made a page for each episode that would be an additional 184 pages. although, it's not a bad idea! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.28.226.152 (talkcontribs) 15:23, 4 October 2005

Corrections

I edited the short summary of episode 204 due to it being the exact opposite of what actually happened inside the episode. I don't have any references to back this up, other then the horrid "Own-research". I saw the exact episode no more then 5 days ago. However the actual page telling of the episode agrees with me and uses the same, language. If my wording is not concise or too, inappropriate (despite being said on the show), feel free to change it.174.18.153.168 (talk) 06:55, 4 July 2009 (UTC)

I've never corrected wikipedia before, just used it, so I'm not sure what the proper procedure is, but there's an episode of King of the Hill not listed here. It's called "The Company Man" and was aired in season 1. It's on the DVDs, but not the episode list. If someone can tell me the right way, I'll insert it myself once I confirm the air date. Otherwise, will someone take care of this omission? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.4.145.230 (talk) 15:05, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

I just made a quick correction, it says that in episode 218 that the chef is Japanese, but in fact the chef was Mexican and only the restaurant itself was Japanese. In fact, this was part of the joke, since Cotton calls the chef a "tojo" and the chef responds with a confused look, asking "¿Qué es 'tojo'?" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 139.182.150.66 (talk) 03:07, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Merging of Articles

Anyone mind if I go ahead and help with the merging of King of the Hill Episode Descriptions with this article sometime soon? --FlyingPenguins 06:26, 20 October 2005 (UTC)

I am the creator of this King of the Hill Page and I strongly agree with the format that this page has been modified to. I also agree with the completion of episode lists for the 10th and last season. I will soon put the descriptions in their appropriate places.

It seems that there is an episode missing in Season 1 The Company Man- originally aired 12/7/97 (this episode was included in the first season DVD- but is it a first season episode?) -anon

I think it would be a good idea to make a page for every episode, just like the "South Park" page. -NapoleonD

Confusion

Hmmmmm, this list seems to be in broadcast order, yet it does not correspond to the order the episodes appear in on the DVDs (which were in production code order for the 1st season and broadcast order for season 2 onward). I thought I should point this out, as it makes things very, very confusing. Also, the episode "The Substitute Spanish Prisoner" from season 5 (although it aired during 6) seems to be missing. - 68.37.125.87 19:39, 8 August 2006 (UTC)

I agree the list is quite confusing. I think it should be changed to DVD order since the original air date order is irrelevant now. Dukemeiser 23:37, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

("The Substitute Spanish Prisoner" added 21 Sep 2006)

When is the release date for the next King of the Hill DVD (Season 7)? I've watched seasons 1 thru 6 repeatedly. Are there any plans to release the next few seasons? Latonya38 19:15, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

FOX usually takes a while to release DVD box sets, so its no surprise that the season 7 has been delayed. Music clearances can often be a very expensive and time consuming process so that may be holding back the DVD releases. My best guess is that it'll be released in the US later this year. (I hope). Sillygostly 04:24, 8 April 2007 (UTC)
Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be any plans for Fox to release the season 7 onwards at this time. KOTH seasons 1-6 did not sell well, so there appears to be no current plans to release the later seasons.

My question pertains to the listing of Season 7 on DVD as being released in March of this year (2009). I would very much like to know where that information was found. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Hawkeyewriter (talkcontribs) 07:43, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Single episodes

I plan on redirecting these per WP:EPISODE soon. Information from multiple secondary sources must be present for a single episode to need an article. This includes reception and development. Single plot summaries and trivia don't make a substantial article. I suggest Wikia and tv.com as alternate venues for this information. TTN 22:59, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

the following episodes: Hank's Got the Willies; Keeping Up With Our Joneses; Square Peg; The Man Who Shot Kane Skretteberg; The Order of the Straight Arrow are being reviewed under WP:EPISODE. You can find the discussion here. Gwinva 10:36, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
The result of the first set of reviews for the KOTH episodes for "Hank's Got the Willies", "Keeping Up With Our Joneses", "Square Peg", "The Man Who Shot Kane Skretteberg", "The Order of the Straight Arrow" was a consensus to redirect the articles to this page (see the discussion). If there was anything pertinent that was on the articles that you think should be made available to readers, please follow the redirect links back to the articles and go into the history to retrieve the information. Please note that another set of KOTH episodes are up still in review. Please see the current discussion and come share your thoughts before the review is closed out.  BIGNOLE  (Contact me) 02:57, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
Just an update, the discussion on the second batch of articles has closed, and the decision was to redirect to this page. Just so you know. I  (said) (did) 03:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)

Creating epesode pages

I would like to propose that we make new articles for all the King of the Hill episodes. If you could just comment below.--76.229.169.203 (talk) 03:53, 7 January 2008 (UTC)

You might want to read the comments right above yours before doing so. -- Ned Scott 04:21, 7 January 2008 (UTC)
Still I might do "How to Fire a Rifle Without Really Trying" as it has a DVD commentary from the writers and I have the DVD.--T. Anthony (talk) 08:14, 2 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah I think all of the episodes need articles. This show is just as important and well loved as Family Guy or The Simpsons. But sadly I do not have time to create the articles. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.33.149.202 (talk) 16:59, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Im in support of episode articles but I don't have a clue how to use wikipedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.203.192.230 (talk) 16:13, 17 October 2008 (UTC)

You guys should read below, I made a list of every single episode with no article — it's a long list. The only one I got started on is Westie Side Story, but it's suffering...badly. It's totally stubbed and I seriously need one of those good editors that know how to add those templates — it's too complicated for me. But at least I got this started. Nobody has been creating more of them, though, and I made that list one month and one week ago. So, I still need help on those articles. I can create them, but there's not much I can do after that besides create a short summary of the plot and add the stub template to the bottom of the page. I need people to really fix up the plot add those "Fun Fact" and "Trivia" etc. sections and add a picture and all that. It's a lot of work, but I'm sure we can accomplish it...eventually. a>C-Son-L_Sweaters.exe 21:20, 24 December 2009 (UTC)

It isn't a bad idea to make a page for each episode. Don't however mae a page only to have it re-dirrect back to this page. This page suffers tremendously from that.--Tacit tatum (talk) 08:13, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

Correction

I deleted the part under "Reborn to be Wild" where it said Pastor K was voiced by Gene Simmons. Pastor K was voiced by David Herman while Gene Simmons voiced Jessie. [1] 206.21.167.48 (talk) 08:42, 25 March 2009 (UTC)

Question

When is the rest of season 13 airing? "Born Again on the Fourth of July" allegedly aired April 19, 2009, but I watched Animation Domination that night and the lineup was Simpsons, Sit down shut up, Family Guy, American Dad? Did the new episodes of King of the Hill get moved to the 6:30 spot where KOTH repeats normally are?RF23 (talk) 19:40, 20 April 2009 (UTC)

KOTH was moved back to its original time slot.Jonh90 (talk) 16:38, 22 April 2009 (UTC)

Question part 2

Okay, i've heard everywhere that FOX cancelled KOTH. Yet today, it said "Season Finale" not "Series Finale". What's the future of the show?RF23 (talk) 02:20, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

"read the answer under the season 14 category on either the king of the hill main page under episodes or episodes page under season 14 Grande13 (talk) 02:29, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Okay, i read it, and it's still not clear to me.

"Fox ordered 13 DABE production episodes. At the conclusion of Season 13 there will be two remaining episodes left."

Does this mean 2 more episodes left until the series finale?

"20th Century Fox Television kept the show in production for four additional episodes (DABE14-DABE17) bringing the actual amount of remaining episodes to six, however the network nevertheless has yet to license those extra episodes, meaning as few as two or as many as six could air next season."

What Exactly does it mean "yet to license" the episodes? RF23 (talk) 03:03, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
to sum it up quickly. 6 more episodes exist. However fox has currently only secured rights to the first 2, so at this point only 2 are guaranteed to air. However if they pick up the license for the remaining 4 episodes there can be a total of 6 episodes next season. Grande13 (talk) 13:15, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for the explanation, that helped alot. RF23 (talk) 20:38, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Ratings?

I have an idea. Maybe instead of showing the ratings in the description, we can put the ratings in a different section like the Title, Description, and Production Code sections. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Coolgokid (talkcontribs) 00:05, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

Colors?

This is in the main page to, but what's with the colors by the side of each season? Great pikmin fan (talk) 23:12, 23 September 2009 (UTC)

Each season has its own color, so its easier to navigate the episode list Grande13 (talk) 12:51, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

I'll start some of the articles, but someone else will have to finish them, though. I don't know how to do the templates. Someone should finish Westie Side Story, that's all I got so far.C-Son-L Sweaters (talk) 21:00, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Season 3

Nevermind fixed it. Season 3 is completely fine now. C-Son-L Sweaters (talk) 21:20, 17 November 2009 (UTC)

Season 2

Now Season 2 is out of order. And it lists Bobby Slam as the first episode when, clearly, it is not. Also, there are wrong dates. Bobby Slam was not aired on October 5, 1997. The first episode was 'How to Fire a Rifle Without Really Trying', which aired on September 21, 1997. a>C-Son-L_Sweaters.exe 16:30, 24 December 2009 (UTC)
