This page is notably missing the http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/2023_Hamas-led_attack_on_Israel -- was this the result of some oversight? Please add. 136.49.15.105 (talk) 22:00, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done. @36.49.15.105 please refer to Talk:List of Islamist terrorist attacks/Archive 9#Should Operation Al-Aqsa Flood by Hamas included in the list of Islamist Terrorist attacks? TarnishedPathtalk 01:37, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for pointing me to this. Truly astonishing that this is considered debatable. Reading through the "No's" has been a fascinating foray into Islamic denialism and sophistry. If this wasn't an Islamic terrorist attack, then there's no such thing as "Islamic terrorism".
As one commenter pointed out:
"Article Eight:
Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes."
https://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp
That said, it appears that any claim of Wikipedia to "objectivity" is long gone: https://www.thefp.com/p/wikipedia-anti-defamation-league-reliable-source 136.49.68.152 (talk) 03:21, 19 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Add Solingen attack: https://www.theguardian.com/world/live/2024/aug/24/germany-festival-attack-solingen-dead-injured-latest-updates Eduardo-wikiedits (talk) 05:56, 25 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done, please state specifically what you want added, and write it out in the proper format. Feel free to reactivate after that! Kingsmasher678 (talk) 02:01, 26 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

What part was unclear?
Someone need to add the Solingen attack to this list: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/List_of_Islamist_terrorist_attacks
(and since the page is protected I can't add it. Perhaps someone else can?) Eduardo-wikiedits (talk) 09:59, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Eduardo-wikiedits, firstly you should refer to the inclusion criteria at the top of this article. Next if you think the entry meets the inclusion criteria, spell out the specific prose and citations that you want added. TarnishedPathtalk 10:13, 22 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Done, meets criteria. --Local hero talk 02:44, 23 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The murder on Theo van Gogh is missing - additional info on why it needs to be added.

[edit]

It needs to be added to Wikipedia for the following reasons:

The incident is notable Yes it was. It shocked the Netherlands. Theo van Gogh was a well know filmmaker.

The incident has a corresponding stand-alone Wikipedia article The victim: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Theo_van_Gogh_(film_director) The terrorist: http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Mohammed_Bouyeri

The consensus of reliable sources describe the incident as "terrorism" Yes, the terrorist Bouyeri was convicted for several charges, including terrorism. http://en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Mohammed_Bouyeri 2001:1C03:58C1:5000:598:5E4A:382E:164D (talk) 07:18, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The incident doesn't have its own standalone article. TarnishedPathtalk 07:33, 27 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
