of and of and of[edit]

Shouldn't it be List of Icelandic flags. And it's not true that the current flag is from 1915, the colors changed somewhere between then and now. The color was slightly heller, like the sky. I can't put it in because I don't know the year. Insert non-formatted text here Steinninn 18:22, 3 June 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Yes, it sounds a bit awkward, but most articles in the "flag-list-project" are named that way (probably to facilitate search). --Camptown 10:03, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I moved it since there was no real reason not to. There's still the redirect if people want to look for a list of flags of Iceland. Someone seems to think that Iceland has an army flag. Don't know if that's true. Worth looking into it I think. --Steinninn 06:48, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Reverted as to the list convention. Move is always possible, but it has to come with link fixing, and that wasn't done in this case. Camptown 15:54, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Commonwealth flag[edit]

This page lists a striped blue and white flag as the flag of the commonwealth. Thing is, there is no evidence that this is a flag they used or even if they had a flag. The concept of flags didn’t even exist back then. The flag shown there is a recent creation based on the hypothetical coat of arms the commonwealth might’ve had. So not only is there no evidence that this flag is legitimate, the coat of arms the flag is based on is speculation at best. So I recommend that unless someone provides a good source, the flag be removed, since it’s misleading Myre36 (talk) 12:24, 7 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
