Sony Channels +1
[edit]Sony Movies +1 is currently on LCN 61 on the Mendip transmitter ... not sure about others.
- Sony Movies +1 is on Freeview along with Sony Channel +1 and Sony Xmas +1 but the movie channels only broadcast from 10pm at night.
Please note: There has been a lot of activity from "2a02:c7d:195d:5b00:dc73:50a4:53f9:3b16" on the page that changed the list back to as it was in September 2019 - but the channels should be up to date now.

GREAT!
[edit]all these former Sony channels are all branded with the word great in capitals, an exclamation mark and the genre of film in lower case (re: freeview EPG and filmstories.co.uk[2])...so that Sony Movies is now 'GREAT! movies' not 'Great! Movies'. The new owners probably want it branded this way so you can find it on google more easily without just getting a list of good films

List of DTT channels in the United Kingdom formatting
[edit]Currently it looks a bit of a mess and maybe influenced by the current formatting of the Radio Times. Its a bit confusing, especially to people with dyslexia, so wouldn't it be better going back to something like this (with the numbers in the right place and notes about regional variations)...

As there are only about 5 local TV companies these days, with most services coming under Local Television Limited's control or branded as That's Christmas maybe these could be included on Channel 7 as well, with a note pointing people in the direction of the "General entertainment: Local TV variations" section for a detailed breakdown of services area by area?
Note: That's TV in Scotland/Wales
[edit]Is That's Christmas on Channel 8 in Scotland and Wales? It cannot be on channel 7 if BBC Alba/C4 is found there but nobody has updated the "General entertainment: Local TV variations" list to reflect this fact (unless someone has tried updating North Wales TV and updated London Live instead). Please find out and amend.
Any reason why my edit was reverted?
[edit]I recently made an edit saying that 271 Channel is now owned by WildEarth, but it got reverted (despite me also sourcing it). Is there a reason for this?
Possibly misleading text in opening paragraph?
[edit]The pages states "Almost all channels broadcast on DTT are free-to-air"
This prompts the question then "Which services broadcast [not a streaming service accessed via a DTT channel listing] are NOT free to air (and thus encrypted)?"
Since the collapse of TopUP TV which provided susbscription services, are there any? 2001:7E8:C01C:C600:6E4B:90FF:FE4A:D342 (talk) 20:17, 3 January 2025 (UTC)

- These are not channel listings, this is one of the more useful guides on wiki, so you know if your TV is set up correctly. If you want channel listings try https://www.radiotimes.com/tv/tv-listings/
Note: TattooedLeprechaun tried to get List of free-to-air channels at Astra 28.2°E (Ireland and the United Kingdom) deleated before and that was rejected. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.154.170.180 (talk) 14:00, 23 January 2025 (UTC)
