The text of the entry was: Did you know ... that actress Amy Adams has been nominated five times for an Academy Award?
Current status: Featured list

Why can't we put her appearance in the Batman/Superman film here?

[edit]

The Ben Affleck filmography lists his appearance in that film, and we can find more reliable sources to say that Adams will appear in that film.John Pack Lambert (talk) 02:48, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for pointing that out. I have removed it from Affleck's filmography. Per WP:CRYSTAL and WP:NFF it is longstanding consensus at WP:ACTOR not to include in filmographies projects that are not yet in production (that is, principal photography has begun). It is very logical, if you think of it, because the actor has not really done any work until filming begins, so why should s/he be credited with the work they have not done yet? Also, considering the extreme uncertainty of many, many Hollywood projects, it is only fair that we make note of them when something tangible has been produced. This is not to say that the project cannot be mentioned in the prose of an article, sourced to reliable secondary sources. It's simply that filmographies are not the place to add every upcoming project that has not yet materialized. Elizium23 (talk) 04:18, 4 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]
