Sakhalin Oblast

im looking for Lesogorsk on the island of Sakhalin its a place in my hammond world atlas 2006 edition. im trying to figure out more about population and history of towns and places in Sakhalin oblast. 76.244.150.120 (talk) 04:45, 13 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it looks that your atlas is well out-of-date. Lesogorsk was demoted to a rural locality in 1993 and renamed Lesogorskoye. We don't yet have an article about this place, but the Russian Wikipedia has a bit about it. I can create a short article about this place here, if that helps you any.
