Sources

[edit]

@Cukrakalnis what sources do you expect? Why do you think additional sources are needed? Marcelus (talk) 21:21, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What kind of a question is that? The article just need more sources, because one is not enough. If you can only find one, then the topic is not notable enough to have its own Wiki article. Additional sources are needed so that this article does not remain an article that contains minimal knowledge. Any sorts of WP:RS can be used and it should not be that hard to find them for a notable topic. Cukrakalnis (talk) 08:59, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The article just need more sources, because one is not enough, why is that? Is there a special rule that says it? Marcelus (talk) 09:25, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
My statements about a lack of referencing in this article are obvious. One single source is never enough. Why are you so uncooperative? Do you feel insulted by me asking for the most basic requirements within Wikipedia? Cukrakalnis (talk) 09:59, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
basic requirements within Wikipedia again, please, poin out where such rule is mentioned Marcelus (talk) 14:45, 7 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

There's a lot more on the German Wikipedia, including many references and more information on the other branches of the family. It even has a good source on the Polish-Lithuanian branch that the English Wikipedia doesn't cite: [1] (more easily accessible than the print article currently cited). The Russian and Ukrainian articles have some sources too, but only a couple. I think the family is definitely notable enough for an article based on seeing the German article, but I agree this could use some expansion based on a wider range of sources. 98.170.164.88 (talk) 02:40, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
