Judeo-Masonic conspiracy theory
[edit]"..with many prominent Liberal politicians actually being Freemasons" - does this mean these Liberal politicians were or are known to be Freemasons, or that the allegation is unfounded, or something in between? The wording is very ambiguous. Harfarhs (talk) 13:24, 7 October 2016 (UTC)

Article Additions
[edit]I plan on making multiple additions/changes to this article. There is a lack of information on the events of La Violencia itself and there are many citations missing. I plan on adding at least one new section that details events that happened during the time period/civil war as well as expanding on the current Development and Conclusion sections. These changes include adding specific locations of violent activity, detailing the groups involved, and adding events that were simply left out (such as the Palanquero Airbase attack). I have compiled a list of sources that I will be using to get this information.
Adrumma (talk) 13:42, 18 October 2019 (UTC)
Feedback: The article will certainly benefit from from more information on events during the conflict. In terms of enriching what is already there, perhaps there is more to be added on the beliefs of the conservative and liberal factions, as in what major differences specifically sparked conflict. I also at the accuracy and relevance of the substantial section on conspiracy theories. While this may be important to describe La Violencia, It perhaps deserves to be mentioned in passing only with links to other articles on these issues. Currently, it distracts from what should be the focus of the article, especially when it is deficient in the areas you identify. -- Reynard2077
Peer Review/Feedback: The article has some mistakes that need to be updated. First, there are some grammatical mistakes, especially in the beginning. Second, the timeline of the causes for this event are confusing, while it ranges from 1946 to 1949. Furthermore, as the article does have grammatical errors, there are also signs of repetition. Third, the article discusses the riots' link to the Catholic Church, yet the article does not seem to connect the two quite well. Overall, the article definitely needs some work, but the topic is very interesting and will be very good when it is finalized. -- Stevenleicht — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevenleicht (talk • contribs) 17:43, 29 October 2019 (UTC)
Peer Review/Feedback #2: Stevenleicht
For "Development," you are missing plenty of citations. There is a grammatical error: you are saying La Violencia and La Violencia. There are a lot of grammatical errors. For example, “different rebel groups had formed in throughout 1950.” There are no sources for the conclusion. There should be way more than one source for the Humanitarian Consequences part. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stevenleicht (talk • contribs) 14:38, 6 November 2019 (UTC)
