Nationality statement regarding Krystian Pearce
[edit]Hi. I knew a footballer, Krystian Pearce, who represented England at youth level had switched to Barbados at senior level, in 2018. According to sources from CONCACAF, he was declared ineligible to represent Barbados. I recently changed his FIFA nationality to England due to the fact with accordance to sources that he was not eligible to represent that country. I'm not questioning why they changed it to Barbados, but the issue is, we don't know that decision was overturned or not, but based on what I am told with sources from CONCACAF, he was ineligible to represent Barbados. And according to the template with flags of nationality of players, it says "Flags indicate national team as defined under FIFA eligibility rules". Should I leave it as it is, or follow the guidelines as sourcing as required says? My suggestion is to follow what the source says, and see what do with outcome of the decision has to indicate.
