Photo Status

[edit]

We are unsure on the copyright status of the image currently on the page. If this image is unsuitable, please help us to find an image we can use! Nick Bushell & --Thomascatterall (talk) 17:58, 15 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Here's Wikipedia's tutorial on finding images—I suspect it's much more likely to be useful than hoping that a person with an image happens to look at editors in need of help. DoriTalkContribs 03:46, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks for the input. We have found somebody who is willing to allow us to use an image. --Thomascatterall (talk) 10:33, 16 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Media Contributions Verification

[edit]

Not sure the correct way to go about this.

This section has been flagged for needs of additional citations for verification. We have placed an additional reference, does a senior wikipedian need to verify that these sources are correct?

Many thanks Nick Bushell & --Thomascatterall (talk) 22:22, 17 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

CV

[edit]

This reads like a CV with way too much listing of all her papers, books, media appearances etc. Much better to summarise that has authored X papers, Y books (namecheck any really known ones - to the public that is, not just psychologists) and say that she has featured often in the media - again naming any really notable appearances. 109.151.79.10 (talk) 14:32, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

References

[edit]

Hi there, I'm currently working on editing the Internet Relationship page, and I'm struggling a little with referencing and citing. I was looking at your page, and I've noticed that you have recently added references. You haven't cited within the text, and you also appear to have only used a reference once within your references section. Could you assist me please. I'm struggling to reference. This is my sandbox if you want to see what I am trying to acheive. Thank you, any help would be appreciated. LucianaFash (talk) 18:48, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Luciana. User:Smartse gave this link on the Adam Joinson talk page. Use this tool to create references suitable for Wikipedia. Hope he doesn't mind me copying the link to here. --Thomascatterall (talk) 22:40, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

I've just removed a load of stuff copied directly from here or elsewhere. You must write everything in your own words!!! For some pointers for how to go about improving the article check Talk:Adam_Joinson#Suggestions where myself and another editor have given a lot of tips to your colleagues which are relevant to you as well. I'm glad you've started the article though, as they are definitely someone that we should have had an article on already. SmartSE (talk) 21:24, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the input. It is difficult to get your head around everything when we start. It would be great if you could keep an eye on the page to ensure we move in the correct direction. --Thomascatterall (talk) 22:32, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Some information that was removed has be put back on the page, this time with proper references and in a different format, rather than just a list. This is mainly the media contributions that Kimberly Young has made (now in the notable works section). --Thomascatterall (talk) 17:48, 21 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
