Move?
[edit]- The following discussion is an archived discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the move request was: page moved to Ki Theory. Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:00, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
User:Rlm2010/Ki:Theory → Ki:Theory —
- Page created in userspace is ready to be moved to mainspace Rlm2010 (talk) 20:06, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- The proposed name may be problematic because "Ki" is the interlanguage prefix for the Gikuyu Wikipedia. – ukexpat (talk) 21:16, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Would it work to put a space between the colon and the "Theory" (though the artist does not officially have that space)?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Rlm2010 (talk • contribs)
- Someone has put this page in the Kikuyu Wikipedia as http://ki.wiki.x.io/wiki/Theory . Anthony Appleyard (talk) 23:30, 12 April 2010 (UTC)
- Looks like an obvious misplacement to me. 81.111.114.131 (talk) 15:33, 13 April 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, definitely a misplacement -- I've gone ahead and deleted that page.
- If the "Ki:" really doesn't work, then the title could just be "Ki Theory," and the artist's "real" name, "Ki:Theory", will be given in the actual text of the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rlm2010 (talk • contribs) 17:25, 15 April 2010 (UTC)
- This page cannot be at 'Ki:Theory', as with the colon that would mean "page 'Theory' in the Kikuyu Wikipedia". Anthony Appleyard (talk) 16:01, 21 April 2010 (UTC)

Display title
[edit]"The correct title of this article is Ki:Theory. The substitution or omission of the colon is because of technical restrictions." — Is there any reason not to use {{DISPLAYTITLE:Ki:Theory}}
at the top of the article, so the page title says "Ki:Theory" even if the real page name is "Ki Theory"? — Bilorv(talk)(c)(e) 18:21, 25 July 2015 (UTC)
- It turns out {{DISPLAYTITLE:Ki:Theory}} doesn't actually work. Never mind. — Bilorv(talk)(c)(e) 17:03, 1 August 2015 (UTC)
