A fact from Keri Blakinger appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 31 July 2022 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:

I prefer the first hook ALT0 but it is worded awkwardly. I wonder if User:BlueMoonset and or User:Theleekycauldron might swoop in and give an opinion or help adjust - that way I can approve it. Back to the article now. Well written, great intro, great image, nice use of headings - very good bio. New and long enough, a QPQ is completed, correct inline citations. One exception: I cannot access citation #8, all I see is the the article's title. Other than that one, I can see the references are proper and there is not a copyright violation. Interesting woman - good article - bravo. Bruxton (talk) 15:16, 15 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Any suggestions on hook changes by either of those pinged would be appreciated. As for ref 8, that's weird. I can't see the article either, but I could when I used it and you can see it on the Wayback Machine even as recently as a month ago. Not sure what they did with their website in the last month. Ok no takers on the hook invitation, so maybe it is just me. Approving hook ATL1 as confirmed and interesting, perhaps more so than 0.. Bruxton (talk) 20:03, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe a mention of the specifics of her reporting? Or perhaps just to say that she does a lot of work on the United States prison system? Thriley (talk) 23:18, 16 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
