Revision
[edit]Went through and revised, sanitized the article some. "Civilians" don't have to be licensed in many areas of the country to carry concealed. I'm in Alaska, and there is no license requirement here.--Asams10 00:28, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- Good clean-up! As for licenses for civilians to carry concealed, exactly two states don't require any licenses. The other 38 that currently permit concealed carry do require licenses. A minor point, though. Nice re-write! Thanks. Yaf 02:06, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
P-11 trigger pull is long and heavy enough to be positively annoying, unless you're used to double-action revolver triggers already... Bouncey 04:51, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
Question
[edit]"as pistols of this size generally fire reduced-power rounds like .32 ACP or .380 ACP" Would someone please explain this line? Their are numerous 9mm that are smaller than the P-11, including the PF-9, LC9, PT708, the Millenium series from Taurus(can't recall the number), the Kahr PM9, among others, anyone care to justify that statment before I revise it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dreg102 (talk • contribs) 17:12, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
Trigger pull
[edit]Anyone want to add something about the gritty 9-lb trigger pull on this beast? It's pretty much the only reason I don't own one. The PF-9 uses the trigger group from the P3AT, with a 5-lb trigger pull... MUCH more manageable. There are a lot of people out there that actually do custom modifications on them to reduce the trigger pull to about 6.5-7.5 lbs, including adjusting the trigger's length of travel, adjusting the arc of travel, reducing the reset overtravel, and modifying or replacing the trigger spring. - Apparently I missed the mention in the article, but the rest holds true. Morgan Phoenix (talk) 18:54, 12 June 2013 (UTC)
