The image description currently says "Note the tool-steel core protruding from the rear of the bullet to form a boat tail." - I don't believe that. For one thing the colour and the surface looks very much like lead and not like steel at all, but mostly because the diameter is too large: The tombak sleeve will engage the rifling of the gun, and you certainly wouldn't want any hard steel at the same diameter, scraping away your lands.
What we need is a cut drawing of the bullet, showing it's construction, where the steel core is actually located, and how large it is.
