Height

[edit]

What other sources? GiantSnowman 11:01, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1.83m - the Athletic - can't see anything else reliable at either height? GiantSnowman 13:04, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Why would you go of the athletic when they go off what they see on google which has been changed. That’s what I’m trying to say my friend it’s outdated. Also the club website is more reliable so please sir can you include the fc Lahti in your reference and report. I guarantee you once that height is in give it months and these sites will change. John islington (talk) 13:34, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Also Transfermarkt is more reliable than soccer way and athletic scouts use this compared to other sites because of its validity. But on google info that’s his height and on the current club website it’s his height so can we agree to use those for his height please and end the dispute my friend. John islington (talk) 13:43, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Transfermarkt is not reliable and should not be used per WP:TRANSFERMARKT. Google itself is also not sufficient. GiantSnowman 14:18, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So soccerway is? Investigate that. You’re not making sense you are taking something off a central website that doesn’t get check by a panel of people but your suing google is insufficient. I actually thought you was legit but there is something sentimental going on. John islington (talk) 02:02, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Just use Lahti as the official one because these guys have measurements passed from club to club and leagues systems that are not available to the public. Can we agree that the Lahti website is more reliable then the soccerway website. John islington (talk) 02:06, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
No, especially when there are multiple other sources which contradict it. If you can find another reliable source at 1.85 I will re-consider. GiantSnowman 10:39, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There is as many stating otherwise from 183 than there is not so I hope there is the same application from that to 185 or 189 because soccerway copy and paste information obtain through an old football manger game. John islington (talk) 03:09, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
These other sites do the same John islington (talk) 03:09, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You please need to provide reliable sources to support your position. There are current 2 for 1.83 and 1 for 1.85. GiantSnowman 11:35, 22 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe FC Lahti has the most recent height, as they might have measured him most recently :) And as a young person, he might have gained more height since the almighty soccerway has updated its info :) Frankly, I don't get it why this soccerway is read like a bible, when it's also full of uncertain information. Actually, he is 1.89m tall per FotMob :O

Soccerway: 183 cm, 70kg
Playmakerstats: 189 cm, 82 kg (https://www.playmakerstats.com/player/joshua-oluwayemi/574254, https://www.tablesleague.com/teams/portsmouth1/josh_oluwayemi/)
Maybe, just maybe, there might be some relation between gaining height and gaining weight, especially when a young person gets older :). Some people have soccerway, some people have common sense. Syvä-äksy (talk) 08:27, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
