According to FreeBMD, the births of three Joseph Mahoney's were registered in Wales from 1910 to 1931, i.e. coinciding with a circa 1946-50 playing career, they are Joseph Mahoney (mother's maiden name Whalen) (birth registered July→September 1916 in Cardiff district), Joseph B. Mahoney (mother's maiden name Good) (birth registered April→June 1918 in Cardiff district), and Joseph Mahoney (mother's maiden name Mason) (registered April→June 1929 in Cardiff district), are any of these Joseph Mahoney?
