The sources for the total statistics are unclear. The current 25 vs 12 victories in 50+ meetings, comes from Guardian Nigeria News reference number 14.([1]) However, the source doesn't specify whether these are senior competitions only or that it includes junior competitions. Nevertheless, Guardian News mentions Black Stars and Super Eagles thus, these may be stats for the senior sides. The other source used for a similar statistics in the article is ref 25 ([2]). This source accumulates the total figure from all competitions, including junior tournaments. But I cannot find verification for the 25 vs 12 victories in 58/9 matches. The table stats is limited to only senior competitions, yet I can't find what source was used to create the table. It would be better if the sources were much clearer for fact checking.
