Is a reference available regarding whether Anne Kermode, Jeffcott's fiancee, was his cousin. One reference for this article, Australian Dictionary of Biography, says she was the daughter of Jeffcott's "kinsman" Willian Kermode, not cousin. The other references do not mention Anne Kermode.
