[edit]John Cohen used his apparently unique abilities to organize the record High Atmosphere: Ballads and Banjo Tunes from Virginia and North Carolina Collected by John Cohen in November of 1965, which is an absolutely brilliant period piece and historic folk music collection. I don't have a good grasp on the details that go into a discography, but I think this release deserves a mention on John Cohen's page. --Greensheep (talk) 08:10, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
- His appearance on Deaths in 2019 was the first I knew he had an article...I knew him only through local politics and his occasional "Putnam String County Band" appearances at political events.12.144.5.2 (talk) 19:05, 17 September 2019 (UTC)
