[edit]The birthdate/parents listed are those that appear throughout the internet without sources and are therefore suspect.
The immigration story is nonsensical. Immigrant John Evered was born about 1610, 30 years after John Ayer(s). His will lists Ayers' children as his cousins. He is on the passenger list for the James of London [1] [2]. The ship that sailed with the Angel Gabriel and carried Richard Mather was the James of Bristol. Missing are any references to the Rosalie Fellows Bailey theory of John Ayers' parents being Robert Ayers and Cicely Crosse of Bromham, Wiltshire as outlined in her 1960, New England Heritage of Rousmaniere, Ayer, Farwell and Bourne Families .[4] (Guivre (talk) 01:23, 6 November 2012 (UTC))
