PDR Swimming
[edit]I just saw the movie "Pride" and got curious about the real person and events.
- Is the name of the swim team he coaches "PDR Swimming?" There's a banner over is shoulder in the image for an article about Jim Ellis [1] that shows "PDR Swimming." There is something called the "Marcus Foster PDR Swim Team"[2] though I don't know if this has any relationship with Jim Ellis.
- The Marcus Foster Recreation Center featured in the movie seems to be fictional but I was unable to determine where Ellis coaches though I have the impression it's system-wide within the PDR rather than at a specific swim center. Marc Kupper (talk) (contribs) 08:19, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
