Royal Spanish Academy

[edit]

Anyone have any idea what " Chair "F" of the Royal Spanish Academy" means? The link it references is dead.ConcreteFancy (talk) 21:26, 5 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Spanish Wikipedia, it’s actually the f chair, and not F. The chairs of the royal academy are named with the letters of the alphabet, both lowercase and uppercase. When a member dies, his or her chair becomes vacant. Jorgebox4 (talk) 20:53, 15 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

When did he leave the priesthood?

[edit]

The early and priestly life section says that he left the priesthood in 1969.

The following section says that he left the priesthood "in order to marry" someone he had met "four months previously" in 1978.
