Actually, there are parts of this article that are in error. In the 1970's research teams discovered that it was Jean-Pierre Medaille, not Jean Paul, who was the founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The 1913 Catholic encyclopedia article on which this is based took material from an source that was later found to be in error.

There really should be two separate articles, or one reworked article on the actual founder of the Sisters of St. Joseph. The article describes competing claims and at some point came to cover two different people. Still titled after only one, though. natemup (talk) 14:38, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
