Beginning overhaul of entire article

Just digging in to improve this article and source it properly. Rewrote the lead section and an "early life' section, and added some section headers. Plenty of available sources so I will continue to rewrite the article section by section and cite sources as needed. If anyone has any suggestions, I welcome your input.
