"He is nicknamed Jay Jay for his entertaining and flamboyant style of play." - can anyone elaborate on the reason why his style of play would lead to the choice of "Jay Jay" as a nickname? I can't see the connection myself.... ChrisTheDude 12:21, 21 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have heard commetators say he is so good they named him twice so that could be part of the nickname but dont know where the Jay came from to start with. Roosterrulez 17:03, 10 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Any word on where's he moving once his Bolton contract expires? Rogerthat Talk 06:21, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Added the second Jay?

[edit]

Never heard that, but the year is certainly wrong. He was definitely already known as "Jay Jay" when he first played for Eintracht in 92. Lewis Trondheim 21:54, 9 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

dribbling skills

[edit]

"he was known for being one of the best dribblers and most skillful players in the world at his prime" Uh, I have never heard this. While he is a good dribbler, I dont think he was the best in the world. And when exactly was his prime? The best he got to was Bolton. Is that his prime? If not, when was his prime? That sentence needs reworking. —Preceding unsigned comment added by FootballChaos (talkcontribs) 12:15, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • No, this is a sentiment shared by alot of football fans. Ronaldinho himself attested to having learned alot from him when they were together at PSG. He was definitely considered world class by most fans and players. I'm sorry that you only saw his "good" performances. unak1978 01:03, 3 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Date of Birth

[edit]

I heard that no one (including himself) actually knows his date of birth, he just has an official date of birth. Anyone know if this is true? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.65.209.85 (talk) 00:22, 16 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alex Adamson?

[edit]

"Alex Adamson regarded this season as the time of his life." - Who is Alex Adamson? Needs a reference if this person is anyone significant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mattchad (talkcontribs) 08:59, 26 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
