(Dropping in as a DGG talk-page stalker with no particular interest in military matters...): As there seems no enthusiasm to merge the articles, how about making this one into a list or Set Index so it links out to all of them? In fact I'll do just that right now, WP:BOLDly. Should keep everyone happy, and enables the reader to get to what they want - if what I produce needs to be tweaked to be a proper SIA, then I'm sure someone will do so.
