The Jamaican patty is better known as Tastee Patties, The most Popular brand in Jamaica.
-in NYC it's known as jamaican beef patties. I have never heard Tastee —Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.111.23.142 (talk) 19:26, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
Why is there a full recipe within this article....should it be removed? It looks and seems very odd. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Starbwoy (talk • contribs) 05:45, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
Why is information being removed by Bilcat?
[edit]bilcat a editor keeps removing useful information, without reasons why
Information seems to be removed regularly by this individual. Is Bilcat the main main editor as dictated by Wikipedia.
I am reverting the information. the Caribbean population is in Canada is as old or older that the ones in New York. In the late 60's and early 70's families initially didn't go to the U.S because they didn't want their husbands or sons drafted for the Vietnam war. Patties are ubiquitous in the Toronto area. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Starbwoy (talk • contribs) 00:16, 10 November 2011 (UTC)
Cornish Pasty?
[edit]I wonder what the differences are between the Jamaican beef patties and cornish pasties?72.78.154.193 (talk) 13:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
And, indeed, English patties, which have their own page. There must be some shared etymology with patty and pasty, too much of a coincidence? Pollythewasp (talk) 11:51, 9 June 2010 (UTC)
I don't see any reference to back up the claim in the article that Cornish pasties were introduced to Jamaica by colonialists. I have heard others claim Jamaicans brought the idea of patties back following visits to the southwest of the UK. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.244.87.103 (talk) 16:23, 26 November 2018 (UTC)
