[edit]I am the niece of Ivan Clues. He died in 2004. I have a letter from the NSW Coroner confirming his death. Can you tell me how I can edit his page to reflect this information. thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sclues (talk • contribs)
- Sclues I copied your edit summary and placed it on this page as I think you intended. The small edit window is for placing an edit summary; the larger edit window is where your edit should be placed. Admins have no more authority than any other editor, just extra tools, so anyone may help you with this.
- Do you have a published obituary from a newspaper? That would work better than a death certificate that is not publicly available. 331dot (talk) 15:37, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for your reply. This is the first time I’ve used Wikipedia in this way and it’s all a bit challenging to understand. Thank you for what you’ve done. I don’t have a published obituary, only the Coroner’s letter and I’m awaiting the death certificate in the mail. I’ll check to see what else I can find. Sclues (talk) 15:50, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
- Okay, so we need something that is publicly available, like a death notice or obituary in a newspaper, or even a biography from his team that has his date of death on it. It might be worth checking your local library. 331dot (talk) 15:56, 12 April 2024 (UTC)
