Good article!--Pannonicus (talk) 04:24, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

British

[edit]

I added a short sentence regarding the UK's encouragement for Italian colonialism in Tunisia (something I remember from my university days). I will expand and provide a reference in future. Dionix (talk) 18:57, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I dug up an old history book last night- In "A History of the Italian Peoples" by Procacci, it is stated that the Germans and Austrians encouraged Italy to divert attention from the Trentino and to create friction with the French. I'll add this to the text. Dionix (talk) 17:11, 25 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Strange unexplainable paragraph: are Maltese people a section of the Italian people like Sicilians ?

On the reference "Ezio Maria Gray. 'Le nostre terre ritornano...' Introduzione"

[edit]

In a recently published youtube video it has been pointed out that said reference is of a book (Ezio Maria Gray - Le nostre terre ritornano... Malta - Corsica - Nizza) that has been published in 1940. After a brief search on the internet, this seems to me to be the case. Since the reference is used in a paragraph regarding 1942 and 1943, i'd say it has no reason to be used, regardless of what is written in this book. In the light of this, it is clear that @Aaron Kirey's first two revisions are not vandalism, (and arguably the latter three neither) although they definitely lacked an explanation. If there's no opposition, i'll proceed with removing said reference and inserting the [citation needed] template. @LukeWiller

It was removed again in this edit, which is good. Crossroads -talk- 05:52, 18 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
