Israel Wachser (1892–1919) was a Yiddish-Hebrew of fantastical tales for young and old. He died fighting Ukrainian pogromists during the civil war.

Thanks for the review! Added inline references where missing. Similarities picked up by Copyvio Detector appear to be mainly titles of works and their English translations, and the limited close paraphrasing is attributed in the text, but I removed some similar phrasing in any case.
