Why Airport COVID commissioner versus COVID czar (?), when both are called proyector (פרויקטור), a term I was previously unfamiliar with (I suppose it means project leader or coordinator or something to that effect). The short of it is that I'm simply following usage in the English-language press.

But by way of possible explanation: I remember at the beginning of his appointment, Ronni Gamzu was called COVID czar in Hebrew, but he expressed displeasure for the term (otherwise common in American nomenclature). So I think they might have changed its title on his behalf, but that it already stuck in the English-language press, unlike with the more recent appointment of the airport proyector. Which they undoubtedly would have as he was highly sought after and was proving vigorous and capable and a convincing spokesperson. He has since returned to his previous role as the head of Ichilov Hospital. El_C 03:13, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
