Please put more tag {{Citation needed}} and {{Dubious}}) into section "Ties to terrorist and extremist organizations" as additional of {{Dispute Section}}

The information on it isn't valid even with attention of dispute-NPOV. The correct information with Islamic Development Bank is available in www.isdb.org and we are here to fight poverty in Islamic World as well as non-member countries (such as India which is not moslem country).

As Islamic Development Bank we would like to ask to be Administrator and to make it Full Protection.

Please help and Thanks a lot Adimyati123 (talk) 12:05, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Please remove section "Ties to terrorist and extremist organizations"

I have added early in that section as

Also I have submitted the request to more tags which are [citation needed] and [dubious – discuss]. Even potentially the whole section intention is related to WP:NPOVD besides WP:DISPUTED, WP:DUBIOUS, WP:AD.

Please follow below explanation: For example The detail on that section are:

====[edit source]

In August 1999 the Islamic Development Bank approved a $250,000 transfer issued by the Saudi government as a contribution to “the purchase of land in Washington DC to be the headquarters for an education and research center under the aegis of the Council for American Islamic Relations (CAIR).”[13][14] CAIR is a U.S.-based Muslim advocacy organization with strong ties to Hamas which have been confirmed by several investigations.[15]

An article by Rachel Ehrenfeld and Alyssa A. Lappen reported that in 2001 the Islamic Development Bank transferred $538 million raised by Saudi and Gulf royal telethons to support families of Palestinian suicide bombers and the cause of the Palestinian intifada.[16] On August 1, 2001 Dr Ahmad Muhammad Ali, a Saudi academic and president of the Islamic Development Bank, reportedly said during an interview with Asharq al-Awsat: “There was no delay in paying financial assistance to the families of Palestinian martyrs...We have started paying them soon after receiving the money.”[17][18]

Dr Ali had previously declared that IDB was responsible for the smooth functioning of al-Quds Intifada Fund and al-Aqsa Fund, both established during an Arab summit in Cairo in October 2000. According to the final communiqué of the summit, “Al-Quds Intifadah Fund will have a capital of 200 million dollars to be allocated for disbursement to the families of Palestinian martyrs fallen in the Intifadah.”[16][19]

Furthermore, Ehrenfeld and Lappen mentioned documented bank records discovered in the West Bank and Gaza proving that the IDB has channeled UN funds to Hamas.[16] Nevertheless, the bank was granted observer status by the UN in 2007 amidst all-round criticism.[16][17]

====[edit source]

Those are NPOV point-of-view as we have another facts as follow http://www.saudiembassy.net/latest_news/news06150901.aspx http://www.isdb.org/irj/go/km/docs/documents/IDBDevelopments/Internet/English/IDB/CM/Publications/IDBGroupBrief2013.pdf http://www-wds.worldbank.org/external/default/WDSContentServer/WDSP/IB/2015/10/15/090224b08314b83e/1_0/Rendered/PDF/West0Bank0and00additional0financing.pdf

Islamic Development Bank together with Saudi Arabia, UNRWA and the World Bank, We are working to help people in emergency situation. So in the Al-Quds and Intifada fund situation, it's not only Islamic Development Bank but also others such as World Bank itself. That section (Ties to terrorist and extremist organizations) is misleading and has intention which is has break the rule of WP:NPOVD.

Islamic Development Bank is never ties with terrorism act and extremist organizations.

Our vision and mission are to fight poverty which has significant relation with reducing terrorism act in certain point. These are our Vision http://www.isdb.org/irj/portal/anonymous?NavigationTarget=navurl://eb226e0b9a3297ebddcc5554057dd35f

Our mission is: “The IDB Group is committed to alleviating poverty; promoting human development; science and technology; Islamic economics; banking and finance; and enhancing cooperation amongst member countries, in collaboration with our development partners.” Adimyati123 (talk) 13:43, 1 February 2016 (UTC) adimyati123

Not done: Hi there, not sure exactly what you want me to change. Can you be more specific? It seems the statements are well sourced. Since you have a COI, this may be a bit hard on you. Can you please discuss this with other editors before opening a request for us to make changes? --allthefoxes (Talk) 23:28, 1 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Administrator,

Related to section "Ties to terrorist and extremist organizations"

Below statement isn't got any supporting reference.

Recently, the bank’s name has been associated with the Boston Marathon bombings in 2013. Dzhokar Tsarnaev, one of the two Kyrgizstani-American citizen who was convicted of planting bombs at the marathon, used to pray at the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) mosque in Cambridge, MA. The Islamic Development Bank is one of the major financial contributors to IBS.[24] Allegedly, the Islamic Society of Boston received a $1,000,000 donation from the Islamic Development Bank.[24]

The reference http://www.newsweek.com/2014/10/24/women-behind-boston-marathon-bombing-suspects-277760.html There is nothing in the article said about Islamic Development Bank and funding the money.

Please remove above statement. Thanks Adimyati123 (talk) 07:36, 2 February 2016 (UTC) adimyati123

Done --allthefoxes (Talk) 17:22, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Allegations are too biased

1) Al Quds and AlQasa funds work with Internationally renowned organisations like UNRWA for the relief activities and educational activities [1]. Linking such funds to extremism based on some website is really biased.

2) Some person with extremist view praying at a masjid cannot justify accusing the masjid authorities or the organisation who funded building of the masjid. These are really poor references.

Hope you could correct these. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Noufalkareem (talkcontribs) 07:00, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

Hi Administrator,

Requesting related with section "Ties to terrorist and extremist organizations" I would like to question the accuracy of the detail as many of reference informations aren't valid or not existing articles.

The above statement is not valid because: Reference: 13.http://www.globalmbwatch.com/2010/07/11/islamic-development-bank-launches-global-media-campaign/ is referencing to non existing webpage http://www.arabnews.com/saudiarabia/article82389.ece

14. http://www.saudiembassy.net/press_release/99_spa/08_15_aid.html is not existing webpage

15. http://www.danielpipes.org/2811/cair-founded-by-islamic-terrorists Has put this statement to support above statement. The Saudi-based Islamic Development Bank gave CAIR $250,000 in August 1999. The IDB also manages funds (Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa) which finance suicide bombings against Israeli civilians by providing funds to the families of Palestinian "martyrs."

But the referencing webpages in that article, which are : http://saudiembassy.net/1999News/News/ForDetail.asp?cIndex=1153 http://www.arabnews.com/?page=4%C2%A7ion=0&article=4976&d=26&m=8&y=2001

aren't exists.

Please remove above statement. Adimyati123 (talk) 07:28, 2 February 2016 (UTC) adimyati123

Not done: Reference 13 is something I can find, and the webpage works fine. Reference 14 is dead, and I will tag it as such. I don't understand what you mean about reference 15. --allthefoxes (Talk) 17:19, 2 February 2016 (UTC)

religion based banks shall be de-established

Such a bank using and based on religion shall be eliminated and cancelled. I call on the US to exert pressure on Saudi to eliminate this bank or transform it to a non-rebellious bank and remove the HQ from saudi arabia. IDB President Ahmad Mohamed Ali has stated there was no scope of providing terrorist financing through the Islamic banks. It is a wrong conception that more scopes are available to finance terrorism through the Islamic banks[1][2]. IDB is united with the international community in seeking to prevent abuses of the financial system by money launderers and terrorists. And IDB’s technical assistance program helps member countries strengthen their legal system and institutional framework for fighting money laundering and terrorist financing [3]. Besides these facts, there are some critics against it. Adimyati123 (talk) 20:37, 21 March 2016 (UTC)

Dear Wiki Editors this request edit has been a while. I am assuming now the content don't have any issue related with NPOV. I will add this request edit directly to the article. In case you have any concern about it later, Please talk first rather than revert it back. Adimyati123 (talk) 06:38, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

I have reverted it. The bullet points are un-needed, and the content should go at the bottom at least. A requested edit means please wait for someone else to make the changes, this may take some time. --allthefoxes (Talk) 13:38, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

@Allthefoxes: I am very sorry to bother you about this. Do you mind to explain why the bullet points are un-needed? Actually I tried to understand your concern regarding neutral point of view. Editor with Conflict of interest, isn't necessary can't be come with NPOV. As well as editor without COI will be neutral.

Let discuss about this editor, Alpie202, mostly his valuable editing time only to put terrorist info to any Islamic Pages he found. Even in one of the edited article he has conflict with another editor ( Megercliff ). I tried to reason with Alpie202 regarding the section he had put in IDB (as you have suggested at 1 Feb 2016). No reply. The same case of edit war with this editor ( Megercliff ). You can see that in Alpie202 talk.

Because of this consideration, I want to know your real concern regarding to put facts about Islamic Developnment Bank itself? The bank has funding many projects in many countries with values around 103.3 Billion USD (http://www.isdb.org/irj/go/km/docs/documents/IDBDevelopments/Internet/English/IDB/CM/IDB%20Group%20Data/LiveDashboard/IsDB%20Projects.html). And some details are available in the website about where the money has been used. If you agree with an editor to put misleading information regarding terrorist funding simply because some websites cite it. Why you won't allow me to put where Islamic Development Bank stands regarding terrorism. Please let me know why you hesitate to allow these facts to be in.

Also if you want to know more detail, please consider this wikileaks (I know wikipedia dont' like them), http://www.wikileaks.org/plusd/cables/07STATE37360_a.html Israel has asked US to investigate IDB at the time of UN Observer. As you are aware in above Criticism section, many of cited websites are related around the same time. US itself has said IDB Al-Quds Funds is different with other Al-Quds funds. The Department, NSC and Treasury therefore do not believe there is a basis for altering the previously cleared instruction for USUN to join consensus on the resolution to grant observer status to the IDB.

4. (U) USUN is authorized to inform the Israeli Mission to the UN of our decision not to seek deferral of this matter.

Adimyati123 (talk) 17:40, 12 February 2016 (UTC)

@Adimyati123: your bulleted list reads more like an official statement / press release, and may not be NPOV complaint. It doesn't really read like it to me. --allthefoxes (Talk) 23:53, 12 February 2016 (UTC)
@Allthefoxes: if you think that way. What about if I changed into below paragraph. I still prefer to put it on-top any critics, so the whole section has meaning. If you put under, It's need conclusion statement before this paragraph. Thanks a lot in advance.
@Adimyati123: Looks much better --allthefoxes (Talk) 14:13, 13 February 2016 (UTC)
