Others?

[edit]

This article mentions Zolfaghar and Z-3 missiles which are article doesn't mention. What are these? Rmhermen 15:55, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I was under the impression Iran frequently wildly exaggerates, or even plain makes up, technological achievements, especially in the military arena. Specifically, I remember their announcements of these MIRV missiles, of their new home-grown AA missiles and submarine cruise missiles were all met with derision. How reliable are the claims about the FAJR-3 missiles?

Zolfaghar could be a nickname it's a mythological reference and has been given as a name to alot of items in the Iran military. There is a Zolfaghar-73 which is a short range guided missile, although I'm not really familiar enough with it to know where to add this. SemperFideliS81 15:03, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Fateh 110.jpg

[edit]

Image:Fateh 110.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 06:08, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This article has had several sections, including the claim of being second to the DPRK in missile forces and the text now ref'd at footnote 2, copied from this URL:http://www.nti.org/e_research/profiles/Iran/Missile/index.html. This should be altered or deleted, and if nothing is done within three weeks I will start deleting all the copyrighted sections.Buckshot06 19:47, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
