Skeletal expanding of this article
[edit]I am adding links to Wikipedia articles already dealing with this topic and which deal with both ideological, historical and practical policies. It will be ready and committed in a few hours. Scierguy (talk) 22:39, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
- Updated the article. Will look to take in some of the references from the underlying articles after a while, so that the article can stand better on itself. Scierguy (talk) 04:48, 14 September 2008 (UTC)
A quick explanation of the "skeletal structure" of this article at this point. It is a NPOV way of tying together related articles and topics on Wikipedia keeping with objective and neutral concerns, and not stating any opinion. This is the structured way to do this inclusion through various sections. Further "fleshing out" and making it more readable with expert information and quotes is a "work in progress" by anyone wanting to contribute. These are all related terms on the topic of foreign interventionism and therefore belong here. As it is a very comprehensive and complex topic, there are numerous articles linked which provide the "skeletal" foundation of further expanding the various sections - giving a more complete information of how these are tied together. Currently, each of the articles contain the fractions and tidbits that directly tie in with foreign interventionism. It is necessary to get a better flow of the article by bringing in the sourced references and statements from the various articles, as well as new references that directly treat this topic. Please contribute if you have a look through some of the other articles or something related to this topic, and feel it is appropriate under this article. Thank you. Withdrawing from further contributions
[edit]I will not be developing this article further. Disturbing personal events in "real life" have lead to this, and I understand that this article is very controversial in the current political climate. I therefore separate myself from this work. My looking into the history and background of this doctrine, its ideology and strategy has been revealing and eye-opening to say the least. I cannot with good conscience continue to contribute further to the article, and I fear that my further contributions would imply a strong systemic bias towards the structure and information of this article. I ask for others to look into the errors I might already have committed. I also separate myself from further developments on the article Bush Doctrine for the same reasons. Other editors can continue the work of improving these articles. Beware of negationism, denialism or your own systemic bias - media democracy, collective intelligence.
Heed the wise words of Donald Rumsfeld on the "war of ideas" from his 2006 speech at the War Academy.
Please do NOT contact me on any issue about this - the Bush Doctrine, foreign interventionism, any article or about Wikipedia, as I will not be responding and I will not be logged to Wikipedia any longer. This is not in any way any accusation of anyone - it is just my personal conscience and fully my personal decision, not under the command of anyone.
