origin?

[edit]

What network/channel did this air on? What country (primarily)?

I know it was on YTV here in Canada, also for some reason I think it was made by Mainframe Entertainment. However this show couldn't stand up with other 3D animated shows at the time - Beasties (aka Beast Wars) and the revolutionary ReBoot. (Side note on ReBoot - it was the first of the 3D animated and it reached it's 4th season about 10 years after it started airing.)
Speak for yourselves. I thought it stood up well - a little more low-tech, but the first season of ReBoot was only a little bit ahead in graphics quality from the eyes of an 8-year-old. And yes, YTV was the primary channel for the North American dub. There was an alternate United Kingdom dub featuring different voice actors and a different script - they had a little bit more leeway with the plot, more in-jokes, not unlike Samurai Pizza Cats/ Suigi 04:04, 19 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Page Overhaul

[edit]

Please note that this page will be getting a large reworking over the coming days. The infobox and categories have been added or expanded, and an episode list, more detailed character section, and other items will be added. Feel free to contribute if you wish! Names of Yuk/Krud machines

[edit]

I'd write them down but I've forgotten what names they were given.

  • A floating, beetle like machine with oars which seemed to act as cargo aircraft
  • A giant drill machine piloted by Teknokratus/Synapes which was used to burrow beneath the flower city
  • A beetlelike vehicle used to collect fallen logs with giant pincers
  • Three bird-like air vehicles used to capture the great prism —Preceding unsigned comment added by Dark hyena (talkcontribs) 13:50, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

First completely computer-animated TV series

[edit]

I’m sorry, but the claim that this was the first completely computer-animated TV series is bunk. Reboot was in production way before Insektors, and at 12 minutes per episode, Insektors isn’t even a full TV series. — TheHerbalGerbil(TALK|STALK), 00:21, 11 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
