INDIA should redirect to India

[edit]

How can a country name redirect to a political alliance which is formed few months ago. CHINA, USA, AMERICA, UK, etc redirect to the country name not any other things. It must be according to worldwide view. This is something that seems so biased to a political Propoganda. Loveforwiki (talk) 02:33, 7 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There was a discussion on this previously and consensus was to retarget the all caps phrase (INDIA) to this page about the alliance vs India (country). The rationale was more rooted in how people are searching for the Alliance and how its mentioned in sources. Nothing really politically motivated. Plus there is a hatnote right at the top of the page that links to the country page. Schwinnspeed (talk) 00:08, 10 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It's so inappropriate. A political alliance which is made an year ago is bigger place than its country itself. INDIA should redirect to India, rather tha here. Loveforwiki (talk) 05:22, 26 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Loveforwiki this issue has been discussed and currently not open to any debate. DataCrusade1999 (talk) 13:56, 3 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

What is Jatiya Dal Assam?

[edit]

In the member parties, the 36th party is "Jatiya Dal Assam" however in its citation, it does not mention such a party, it does however mention the Assam Jatiya Parishad as a part of INDIA. I am asking because I want to edit it to be changed to such, in the case that the JDA does not exist in the alliance

Chhatisgarh has 11 Lok Sabha Seats, Congress has 13 seats in Maharashtra, no seat in Ladakh, 99 overall

[edit]

I don't know whether it's a page admin or someone with some unknown intention, but someone keeps changing facts on this page. Chhattisgarh has 11 Lok Sabha Seats, but someone keeps changing it to 10 for some reason. The Congress has 13 MPs from Maharashtra and 0 MPs from Ladakh, but someone keeps adding independent candidates into the Congress tally instead of the I.N.D.I.A. tally. It appears that this user would like to see the Congress having more than 100 MPs based on some misleading articles on the web, but since it is far from reality, request some neutral admin of this page to get this right once and for all.

And for the one saying "outdated" source, please refer to the current Lok Sabha strength on the official website of the Lok Sabha. (Scroll to the section: "Party-wise representation" [1]https://sansad.in/ls

Hope some official admin fixes this. Thanks. PowerOfFiveFan (talk) 06:51, 7 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Can I change the map of the India alliance state governments as Delhi is no longer ruled by AAP? I have the file, too. Veekthedragon (talk) 17:51, 9 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

"Gaining more than 100 seats from dissolution" -> "gaining more than 100 seats compared to its pre-dissolution strength."

Rationale: gaining more than 100 seats from dissolution doesn't make any sense. My proposed sentence is actually from a news source. 63.73.199.69 (talk) 02:16, 10 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
