Should this be categorized under India-University stub??

[edit]

I know this is a totally minor issue. Should we say that this is a stub for an Indian University or just say that this is a stub for a business school (leaving the geographical spread to the perceptions of the user)? I would rather see the IIMs as a global institute than an indian university. This is in reference to the dual stub categorization of this article. doles 14:28, 28 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

There are a lot of articles classified as both Indian freedom fighters and Indian politicians, though some may be known more as freedom fighters. The idea is that some one going through the category page would get the details at a glance. Similarly, the category Femina Miss India Winners also has the runners-up as well as other famous participants. Also, the university stub description doesn't say that it is a university alone. It reads "This India university, college or other education institution article is a stub. " So, having this categorisation doesn't mean that IIMB or any other IIM or an IIT is a university. I'm reverting the edit to the previous edit. Thanks, --Gurubrahma 14:52, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for sharing your opinions. FMI: is there any category named as this one? Like a "Universities of USA"?? I wonder if it is necessary to put the geographical context over here? Anyways, this is trivial issue. doles 18:33, 30 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

It's "Indian Institute of Management Bangalore"

[edit]

... and not "Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore". The word "Bangalore" forms part of the name, and there is no comma that separates it from "Indian Institute of Management".

Kind request to add PGSEM in the IIM-B (banglore) pages. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.169.5.0 (talk) 11:20, 12 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Any reason why the name of Institute in Kannada was removed?? I saw this page few months back, then I could see the name in Kannada. Any harm if Kannada translation is mentioned??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.83.68.186 (talk) 18:09, 4 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
